Rail Transport
Southern Moravia is a traffic junction of Europe. Passing through the region are 2 multi-mode corridors which are further linked to the TEN
Connection of Brno, the capital of the region, with other European towns and cities is provided by several trains of Eurocity class.
Air Transport
A not-negligible advantage of the region is the 1st class International Airport in Brno-Tuřany (international designation ICAO-LKTB), with 2,650 m long and 60 m wide runway. Its technical parameters and equipment comply with international standards of all-season operating of all types of aircrafts, including under difficult weather conditions. At the moment there are two scheduled flight connections: Brno – London (once a day) and Brno – Munich (twice a day with a possibility of changing in Munich to all the lines of Lufthansa company).
