(403) Bøeclav - Poštorná (44 ha)

The town of Bøeclav has a population of 30,000 inhabitants. It is located in the southern part of the Southern Moravia Region and about 60 km distant from Brno. Bøeclav represents the administrative center of the Bøeclav district which directly borders Austria (the border itself is in the town's close surroundings) to the south and Slovakia to the south-east. The important Baltic-Balkan axis passes through Bøeclav. The significance of this axis grows even greater with the planned motorway interconnection of Warsaw and Budapest. Bøeclav is also one of the major railway hubs. The greatest railway routes passing through are Praha - Brno - Bøeclav - Kùty - Bratislava, Bøeclav - Hohenau - Vienna, and Bøeclav - Pøerov (the 2nd railway corridor). Possible investors might find attractive the easily accessible, high-quality and competitive labour force in the area. The industrial zone Poštorná, occupying an area of 44 ha (109 acres), is situated to the west of the town of Bøeclav. The first class road No. 55 connected to the motorway D2 Brno - Bratislava runs along this location. The exit from the D2 motorway is about 2 km distant from this zone's boundary. A traffic bypass has been designed along the south and west sides of the zone. The railway station Bøeclav is 3 km distant from the zone. There is an opportunity of utilization of the area by establishing new industrial factories and capacity warehouses. To potential foreign investors, this location offers the advantage of obtaining investment incentives (discounts on income taxes, special regime of custom duties) and other allowances. A subsidy of 80,000 CZK is to be assigned for every new job opportunity and a subsidy for retraining of employees can reach up to 25% of eligible business expenses.
