(418) Pohořelice - Dolní Štingary (40.5 ha)

The town of Pohořelice has almost 5,000 inhabitants and it is located in the Břeclav district. The zone in Pohořelice provides one of the best locations in the district, especially because of its ideal proximity to transportation. The zone adjoins the expressway R52 Brno - Vienna currently terminating in Pohořelice. The extension of the road all the way to Vienna should be concluded in 2010 at the latest. However, even at present the travel time to Vienna does not exceed 90 min, and to get to Brno, the second largest town in the country and the residence of 8 universities, it takes less than 20 min.

The industrial zone Dolní Štingary is adjacent to the local railway and approx. 15 km further it joins the IV European railway corridor Berlin - Praha - Břeclav - Vienna/Bratislava. The industrial zone consists of about 40.5 ha (100 acres), from which 10 ha (24.7 acres) have already occupied by the companies Cleners CZ and Manuli. The overall infrastructure lies at the zone''''s boundary - the water supply and gas supply are right on the margin, the sewerage system intersects the zone as does the power supply. The industrial zone is suitable for light engineering and electronics.

Potential investors can obtain the advantages of the standard investment incentives offered (discounts on income taxes, special regime of custom duties), as well as other allowances, such as a subsidy of 80,000 CZK for every new job opportunity or a subsidy for retraining of employees which can reach up to 25% of the eligible business expenses.
